Rara Lake, also known as Mahendra Daha, is the largest lake in Nepal, situated at an elevation of 2,990 meters with an area of 10.8 square km. It is beautifully surrounded by green hills. Another interesting fact is that Rara Lake has blue water but shows three different colors in a day. Moreover, Rara Area is a great trekking destination for those who want to be close to nature.
