Nagdaha is a lake in Lalitpur District. According to legends, a male serpent who resided in Taudaha once went to the town of Panauti to participate in a festival where he made a union with a female serpent of Nagdaha, giving birth to the mythical half-serpent and half-human beings along with heavy rain.
Talking about biodiversity, Nagdaha is rich in aquatic wildlife, home to various species of native fish. Along with that, you can see more than 50 species of birds along with other migratory species of birds.
