Janai Purnima is a great Hindu festival celebrated on the full moon of Shrawan month. Besides changing Janai and putting on Doro, Jhankri Naach is also done on this day. Jhakris perform special Jhakri Naach on this day to make their deity happy and bless them with better knowledge of Jhakri practice.
