Jagdishpur Lake

Jagdishpur Lake, Jagdishpur Taal or Jagdishpur Reservoir, also referred to as Jagdishpur Reservoir, is actually situated in Lumbini, Nepal. The lake was primarily built to provide irrigation water to the farmlands in the area, but it has also become a popular tourist attraction due to its scenic beauty and tranquil surroundings. While the man-made lake does provide a natural habitat for various species of birds and fishes, it is important to note that it is not a fully natural lake, but rather a reservoir created by human intervention.
