Gen Z Activists Protest at Maitighar Demanding Public Release of Karki Commission Report

Activists from the Gen Z Movement Alliance and other youth campaigners staged a protest at Maitighar Mandala demanding the public release of the investigation report regarding alleged repression during the Gen Z movement. Demonstrators organized a public gathering questioning “Where is the full report of the Karki Commission?” and urged the government to make the findings public. The government had previously formed an investigation commission on October 5 under the leadership of former justice Gauri Bahadur Karki to examine the issue, and the commission submitted its report to the government on Falgun 24. जेनजी आन्दोलनमै भएको दमनबारे तयार गरिएको प्रतिवेदन सार्वजनिक गर्न माग गर्दै माइतीघर मण्डलामा जेनजी मुभमेट अलाइनस लगायत जेनजी अभियन्ताहरूले प्रदर्शन गरेका छन् । उनीहरूले ‘कार्की आयोगको पूरा प्रतिवेदन खोइ’ भनेर प्रश्न गर्दै खबरदारी सभा आयोजना गरेका हुन् । सरकारले ५ असोजमा पूर्वन्यायाधीश गौरीबहादुर कार्कीको नेतृत्वमा जाँचबुझ आयोग गठन गरेको थियो । आयोगले २४ फागुनमा सरकारलाई प्रतिवेदन बुझाइसकेको छ ।
