CPN-UML Second Statute Congress Kicks Off in Lalitpur

The CPN-UML has begun its Second Statute Convention at the Sunrise Convention Center in Godawari, Lalitpur. Party Chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the three-day event, which carries the theme “Our Resolution: Building a Decisive National Force, National Destination for a Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali.” The venue is filled with flags, banners, and portraits of past leaders and thinkers, while volunteers guide the 2,341 participants, including over 2,000 representatives. Throughout the convention, key reports, documents, and proposals to amend the party’s statute will be discussed. Lalitpur 5 September 2025
