Chandeshwori Jatra(चण्डेश्वरी जात्रा), which is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Chandeshwori or Parvati, is regarded as the biggest festival in Kavrepalanchowk district of Nepal. The celebration lasts for three days and is observed on the first full moon day of the New Year’s festival in the country. It commemorates the triumph over the demon Chandasur.
