CPN (Maoist Centre) Committee Meeting Begins to Approve Party Unification

The CPN (Maoist Centre) National Convention Organizing Committee has commenced its full meeting at Pragya Bhawan, Kamaladi, to discuss and approve the proposed unification with the CPN (Unified Socialist) and other leftist parties. The meeting, held on Tuesday, follows a prior Secretariat session where leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha presented the finalized agendas. During the discussion, Shrestha emphasized that the party’s goal is not merely to increase numbers, but to strengthen ideological unity among communist forces in Nepal. The official announcement of unification among nine communist factions, including the Maoist Centre and Unified Socialist, is set for Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
