Sunrise in Mt Ama Dablam

Ama Dablam is a stunning mountain in the Everest region of Nepal. Ama Dablam is even featured on the one-rupee Nepalese banknote.
The main peak is 6,812 meters, the lower western peak is 6,170 meters. This iconic peak is known for its double-edged ridges, which resemble a mother’s arms embracing her child. The glacier is the Dablam, a traditional double pendant containing pictures of gods, worn by Sherpa women.
