UML 11th General Convention Inaugurated at Sallaghari, Bhaktapur

The 11th general convention of the CPN-UML was formally inaugurated at Sallaghari, Bhaktapur, by party chair and former prime minister KP Sharma Oli, with a strong presence of delegates, party workers, well-wishers, and leaders from various political parties across Nepal. Described as the party’s largest gathering to date, the three-day convention has brought together over 2,200 delegates, 309 observers, and thousands of volunteers, and is primarily focused on electing new leadership, including 15 office-bearers and a 251-member central committee, while closed-door sessions will take place at Bhrikutimandap.
