‘Sa Paru’ Festival in Nepal

Children wearing traditional dress parades during Sa Paru festival also known as ‘Gai Jatra’ or ‘Cow Festival’ in Bhaktapur, Nepal on August 31, 2023. The festival is celebrated by people of Newar communities in memory of deceased family members who died the preceding year.
