Roshan Maidan.

It had been a weeklong treacherous ordeal hiking along the hills and mountains of Kalikot, Bajura & Achham. We didn’t know it then but the steep (& risky) downhill descent of Bange Chahara was the final chapter. Once we reached the Roshan Maidan, it was over. We’d reached the plains of Ramaroshan Valley, the trails were easier. Trekking along these meadows was relaxing instead of tiring. The green grasses & the river streams, the forests, the clouds, Bange Chahara and the horses; all felt like someone had choreographed a scene to comfort our tired body and minds.
