National Vitamin A Program Continues Across Nepal

The Department of Health Services continued the National Vitamin A Program today, distributing Vitamin A capsules and deworming tablets to children across the country. As part of the campaign, children aged 6 to 59 months received Vitamin A supplements, while those aged 1 to 5 years were given deworming medicine to improve nutrition and overall health. The next phase of the program is scheduled for Baisakh 6 and 7, 2083 (April 18–19, 2026).

स्वास्थ्य सेवा विभागले आज पनि बालबालिकालाई राष्ट्रिय भिटामिन ‘ए’ कार्यक्रमअन्तर्गत भिटामनि ‘ए’ क्याप्सुल र जुकाको औषधि खुवाइरहेको छ । ६ महिनादेखि ५९ महिनाका बालबालिकालाई भिटामिन ‘ए’ तथा एक वर्षदेखि पाँच वर्षसम्मका बालबालिकालाई जुकाको औषधि पनि आज खुवाइंदै हो । अर्को चरणको भिटामिन ‘ए’ कार्यक्रम आगामी वैशाख ६ र ७ गते खुवाइने छ ।
