The Masked Palm Civet (Paguma larvata) aslo known as Gem-faced Civet is a nocturnal, tree-dwelling mammal native to South and Southeast Asia. Recognizable by its slender body, grayish fur, black mask-like facial markings, and bushy tail, it inhabits forests, plantations, and sometimes urban areas.
