Maitidevi Temple Shines Bright as Tihar Festival Approaches

As the Tihar festival draws near, temples across Kathmandu are glowing with decorative lights and garlands. The Maitidevi Temple, in particular, has been beautifully illuminated, radiating a festive charm. Like every year, the temple premises are adorned with colorful lights, floral garlands, and traditional torans. Devotees gather in the evenings to light lamps and offer prayers to the goddess, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere. With the festival approaching, the temple has become a center of devotion and celebration, as worshippers pray for wealth, prosperity, and good fortune in preparation for Lakshmi Puja. तिहार नजिकिँदै गर्दा राजधानीका मन्दिरहरू झिलिमिली बत्ती र फूलमालाले सजिन थालेका छन्। मैतीदेवी मन्दिर पनि अहिले झिलिमिली बत्तीको रौनकले झकिझकाउ बनेको छ।
हर वर्षझैं यस वर्ष पनि तिहार पर्वको अवसरमा मन्दिर परिसर रंगीन बत्ती, फूलमाला र तोरणले सजाइएको छ। भक्तजनहरू साँझपख मन्दिरमा दीप प्रज्वलन गर्दै देवीको पूजा–आराधनामा सहभागी भइरहेका छन्।
मन्दिर परिसरमा भक्तजनको भीड बढेसँगै धार्मिक माहोल झन् उल्लासमय बनेको छ। तिहारलाई लक्ष्मीपूजाको तयारीका रूपमा समेत लिने भएकाले श्रद्धालुहरू मैतीदेवी मन्दिरमा धन, समृद्धि र सौभाग्यको कामना गर्दै पुगेका छन्।
