Kathmandu Metropolitan City Demolishes Illegal Structures in Thapathali Heritage Area (8)

Kathmandu Metropolitan City has initiated the demolition of unauthorized constructions built within the Thapathali heritage zone. The operation targeted illegal structures encroaching upon the land of significant heritage sites, including Kalmochan Ghat, Ram Temple, and Bishnu Laxmi Temple. This move aims to preserve the city’s historical and cultural assets. Thapathali, Kathmandu – November 2, 2025.
