Karnali Bridge Chisapani is the first and only cable-stayed bridge in the country till date.  The bridge spans the Karnali River between the Kailali District and Bardiya District of western Nepal.

Visiting Karnali Bridge Chisapani

The bridge stands at Chisapani, where the Karnali River leaves the hills and enters the plains, on the western edge of Bardiya National Park. The area is known for sweeping river views, sunsets over the Karnali, and fresh river fish served at local eateries. It is also a gateway for rafting trips that finish on the Karnali and for visits to Bardiya’s wildlife.
