Golden Dhaap, Solukhumbu.

Dhaap, which lies on the way to Salleri and is the border between Solukhumbu & Okhaldhunga, offers one of the best roadside views in all of Nepal. When we passed Okhaldhunga Bajar during the month of Mangsir, we were engulfed by fog and clouds. But, as we neared Dhaap, the horizon was all clear. It wasn’t the weather that opened but us who had just reached above the clouds. Mt. Everest, Numbur, Karelung and many other Himalayan giants stood right in front of the road. And that was our first impression of the Pikey Peak trek, utterly fascinating.
