Gen Z Movement Protests: Supreme Court of Nepal, Kathmandu Set Ablaze and Damaged

During the Gen Z Movement protests on September 8 and 9, 2025, The Supreme Court of Nepal, Kathmandu got fired and damaged. Demonstrators, protesting against corruption and the social media ban, also set fire to the parliament and several government offices. Following the unrest, Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli resigned, and the army was deployed to restore order in the capital. Kathmandu, 10 September 2025.

२०८२ साल असोज २२ र २३ गते जेन–जी आन्दोलनका क्रममा काठमाडौंस्थित नेपाल सर्वोच्च अदालतमा आगो लगाइएकाे र क्षति पुर्‍याइएकाे छ। भ्रष्टाचार र सामाजिक सञ्जाल प्रतिबन्धविरुद्ध प्रदर्शन गरिरहेका प्रदर्शनकारीहरूले संसद भवन र केही सरकारी कार्यालयहरूमा पनि आगो लगाएका थिए। असन्तुष्टिका घटनापछि प्रधानमन्त्री के.पी. शर्मा ओलीले राजीनामा दिएका छन् भने राजधानीमा शान्ति स्थापना गर्न सेनालाई परिचालन गरिएको छ। काठमाडौं, २०८२ असोज २४ गते।
