Voter Registration Crowds Increase Ahead of Upcoming Election in Nepal

Large crowds have gathered at election offices across Nepal as citizens rush to register their names on the voter list for the upcoming election in Nepal scheduled for Falgun 21. The Election Commission’s decision to allow voter registration from any election office nationwide has significantly increased the number of applicants. According to the Commission, after filling out the online form, voters can visit any convenient office to submit their photograph and biometric details. Voter registration will remain open until the end of Kartik. Kathmandu, 9 October 2025.

फागुनमा घोषणा भएको निर्वाचनको लागि मतदाता नामावलीमा दर्ता हुनको लागि मैनिसहरूको भीड निर्वाचन कार्यालयमा लागेको छ । निर्वाचन आयोगले देशका जुनसुकै निर्वाचन कार्यालयबाट पनि मतदाता नामावली दर्ता गर्न सकिने जनाएसंगै मतदाताको भीड बढेको हो । निर्वाचन आयोगको अनलाइनमा फारम भरेपछि उक्त फारमका आधारमा जहाँसुकै गएर फोटो र बायोमेट्रिक दिन सकिने सूचनामा उल्लेख छ। फागुन २१ गते हुने निर्वाचनका लागि आयोगले कात्तिक मसान्तसम्म मतदाता नामावली संकलन गर्ने जनाएको छ।
