A 28-foot-high (8.5 meters) chariot of the Seto (white) Machindranath, the god of protection, is paraded through Kathmandu, Nepal, 16 April 2024. The Kathmandu Valley-based ethnic Newari people believe a seto machindranaath will give good monsoon season as will follow the chariot procession
